About this event
Kricket is one of four Shoreditch restaurants cooking at Sagra di Shoreditch, a 300-guest Italian street party arriving in the Museum of the Home’s gardens on Saturday 15 August.
The date isn’t incidental: it falls on Ferragosto, the Italian summer holiday, and the whole afternoon is built around Big Mamma’s Gloria, Blacklock and Passione Vino sharing one long table rather than four separate rooms. Gloria opens the feast with antipasti, among it 5kg wheels of Mozzarella di Bufala, XXL burrata and Prosciutto Crudo di Parma, before we take over for mains; Gloria returns with a bowl of Pasta Fredda, and Blacklock closes with their white chocolate cheesecake, scooped tableside. Passione Vino will be keeping everyone’s wines topped up throughout.
Tickets are £75, covering a welcome drink, all four courses, wine, entertainment and entry to the Tombola draw, and every penny of profit goes to the Felix Project and the Shoreditch Trust’s Young Chefs Programme.
