Kricket headed to New York for a two-night pop-up with Comal, a celebrated restaurant in the Lower East Side.

We had long been inspired by the energy of the New York food scene and were thrilled to join Gaz Herbert and his team in their kitchen. The event was a natural fit, born from a mutual passion for creative, flavour-driven food. Our menu for the special event combined Kricket’s signature dishes with creations that gave a nod to both New York and Comal’s take on Mexican cuisine.

Guests joined us on Monday, 6th October and Tuesday, 7th October, for an exclusive multi-course set menu. The lineup included our iconic Keralan fried chicken and bhel puri, alongside exclusive dishes that combined Comal and Kricket’s unique flavours. Standouts included a Paneer taco with malai sauce and black garlic, and the hero of the dinner, a Wagyu skirt with green peppercorn and bone marrow nihari sauce.
